Overview
The ENCORE ENPWI-N, 802.11n Wireless PC Card adapter is fully compliant with IEEE 802.11n Draft 2.0, which provides users in launching IEEE 802.11n wireless networks at up to 300 Mbps speed in the 2 .4GHz band. It is also backward-compatible with IEEE 802.11b/g wireless devices at 11/54 Mbps speed. It can be configured to connect to an ad-hoc network mode, connecting to other 2.4GHz wireless devices and computers, or to the Infrastructure network mode to connect to a wireless AP or wireless router for internet access. This Card Bus adapter includes a convenient Utility Software for scanning available wireless networks and an option in saving profiles of the preferred networks of the user’s usual wireless connection. It is also equipped with a configurable wireless security and encryption software.
