Overview


Encore Wireless MIMO Router is a value-added 802.11g wireless router that embraces MIMO (Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output) technology. It achieves a wireless networking speed up to 54 Mbps over a larger area than that specified in the 802.11g standard. At the same time, it reduces dead spots in the wireless network. This router is backward compatible with 802.11b/g products. ENHWI-PN also features 4 Fast Ethernet (10/100 Mbps) ports to support a wired network. For your protection and convenience, ENHWI-PN comes with strong security features and user-friendly configuration utility.

ENHWI-PN uses multiple antennas for sending and receiving signal to maximize throughput and coverage of the wireless network. As a result, ENHWI-PN solves one of the problems that afflict present-day routers - not having sufficient range to cover your home or office. It also features strong network security with WEP and WPA-PSK encryption; and supports routing functions such as NAT with VPN pass through and MAC filtering. It includes a built-in SPI firewall for added protection. You can easily configure and install this router using the web-based configuration utility.
